Hero Wars Tier List 2026 – All 75 Heroes Ranked from S Tier to D Tier

By Trade Boy • Updated for 2026 Meta • Hero Wars Dominion Era • 75 Heroes Ranked

Choosing the right heroes to upgrade is one of the most important decisions in Hero Wars Dominion Era. With so many heroes available, knowing which ones are worth investing in can save you a massive amount of resources and help you build significantly stronger teams.

In this guide, I'm going to rank all 75 heroes in Hero Wars Dominion Era, from S tier down to D tier.

This tier list is based on my in-depth experience with the game and the current 2026 meta, considering every major game mode: Arena, Grand Arena, Guild War, Clash of Worlds, and Asgard (Osh & Maestro).

Some heroes are extremely powerful in specific situations, while others are universally useful in almost every game mode. That's why I'm considering their overall usefulness rather than judging them based on just one team combination.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, this guide will help you understand which heroes are worth upgrading, which heroes have strong team synergies, and which heroes you probably shouldn't prioritize.

A Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Adam A TIER

Adam

A Tier
Verdict: My ranking: A Tier.

Adam is a really strong hero, and one of his most interesting abilities is his ability to dodge different types of incoming damage.

Unlike most dodge-based heroes, who primarily dodge physical attacks, Adam can avoid different types of damage. Heidi has a similar mechanic, but Adam's ability makes him particularly interesting.

He can be a very difficult hero to deal with when placed in the right team composition.

He's definitely worth considering if you're looking for a hero with strong defensive capabilities.

Aidan B TIER

Aidan

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Aidan is a healer and support hero who works particularly well with frontline heroes.

He can provide useful healing and additional support, making him a decent option for certain team compositions.

However, compared to some of the stronger support heroes available, he's not someone I'd prioritize upgrading first.

Amira B TIER

Amira

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Amira is extremely strong against critical-hit-focused teams.

Heroes like Jhu, Sebastian, Yasmine, and Lara Croft can have a difficult time dealing with her abilities.

In certain situations, Amira can completely destroy an enemy team.

However, her biggest weakness is that she becomes significantly less useful against heroes who don't rely on critical hits.

She's an excellent counter-pick, but not a universal hero.

Andvari D TIER

Andvari

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Andvari has some useful abilities in specific situations, but his overall performance isn't particularly impressive in the current meta.

There are better options available, so I wouldn't recommend prioritizing him.

Arachne B TIER

Arachne

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Arachne is a control-focused hero with some useful crowd-control abilities.

She can disrupt enemy strategies and create opportunities for her teammates to deal additional damage.

She's not necessarily a top-tier hero, but she can be quite useful in the right combination.

Artemis D TIER

Artemis

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Artemis is a physical damage dealer, but she hasn't been particularly impressive in the current meta.

There are stronger and more reliable damage dealers available.

Astaroth D TIER

Astaroth

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Astaroth is a familiar hero, especially for beginners. His resurrection and protection abilities can be useful, but there are better tank options available in the current meta.

Astrid and Lucas D TIER

Astrid and Lucas

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Astrid recently received a new Ascension ability, but even with that addition, I don't think she's become particularly useful in the current meta.

She still struggles to compete with stronger damage dealers and team combinations.

Augustus A TIER

Augustus

A Tier
Verdict: My ranking: A Tier.

Augustus is a really nice hero who can provide both damage and support.

He's particularly useful in magic-focused teams, where his abilities can make a significant difference.

Considering his overall performance and usefulness in the current meta, he definitely deserves a higher position.

Aurora C TIER

Aurora

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Aurora is a dodge-focused tank who can be useful in certain team compositions.

However, her performance can be inconsistent, and she's not necessarily the best option for every situation.

Alvanor D TIER

Alvanor

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Alvanor has some specific team synergies, but his overall usefulness is limited compared to stronger support heroes.

B Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Byrna B TIER

Byrna

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Byrna is an interesting hero with some useful abilities and potential in the right team composition.

She can contribute to certain combinations, but I wouldn't consider her one of the absolute top-tier heroes right now.

C Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Cascade B TIER

Cascade

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Cascade is a versatile hero who can provide both damage and useful team support.

He can work with different team combinations and offers some interesting possibilities.

He's definitely worth considering, although I don't think he's quite strong enough for A tier.

Celeste C TIER

Celeste

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Celeste is a healer and support hero who can provide useful healing and interfere with enemy healing.

She can be effective in certain situations, but compared to the stronger support heroes available today, she's not particularly impressive.

Chabba D TIER

Chabba

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Chabba is a tank, but there are better frontline options available in the current meta.

I wouldn't prioritize upgrading him.

Cleaver D TIER

Cleaver

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Cleaver has some interesting abilities and can work in certain combinations, but his overall performance doesn't justify a higher ranking.

Cornelius B TIER

Cornelius

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Cornelius is an interesting case because his usefulness depends heavily on the game mode.

If we're talking about Asgard, especially against bosses like Osh and Maestro, Cornelius can be incredibly valuable. In those situations, he can easily deserve S tier.

However, in regular PVP modes, his usefulness is much more limited.

Considering both PVP and PVE, I think B tier is a reasonable overall ranking.

Corvus C TIER

Corvus

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Corvus is a tank with some unique abilities, particularly his Altar of Souls.

His altar can punish enemies who deal damage to your team, making him useful against certain opponents.

However, his overall performance isn't consistent enough for a higher ranking.

D Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Dante C TIER

Dante

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Dante is one of my favourite heroes in Hero Wars.

Before Lyria was released, I would probably have placed him in A or even S tier.

He used to be an extremely powerful hero, especially in dodge-focused teams.

However, the meta has changed, and Dante has lost a lot of his previous value.

He's still usable, but he's nowhere near as dominant as he used to be.

Daredevil D TIER

Daredevil

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Daredevil has some damage potential, but there are better physical damage dealers available.

Dark Star D TIER

Dark Star

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Dark Star has some interesting control abilities, but her overall performance isn't strong enough for a higher ranking.

Dorian B TIER

Dorian

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Dorian is a really nice healer, particularly for backline damage dealers.

Heroes like Adam, Orion, and Augustus can benefit significantly from his healing aura.

He can provide excellent survivability to the right team, making him a valuable support option.

E Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Electra B TIER

Electra

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Electra is currently an interesting tank, especially when combined with Fluffy.

She's part of a powerful team combination and can perform really well with the right support.

However, without Fluffy and the correct team composition, she isn't nearly as impressive.

Considering her overall usefulness rather than just her strongest combination, I'm putting her in B tier.

Elmir D TIER

Elmir

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Elmir isn't particularly impressive in the current meta, and there are better damage dealers available.

Eva C TIER

Eva

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Eva is a relatively new hero, so it's still difficult to make a final judgment.

She might become useful in some new team combinations in the future.

For now, based on what we've seen, I don't think she deserves a higher position.

F Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Faceless D TIER

Faceless

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Faceless has some useful control abilities and can work with certain heroes, particularly K'arkh.

However, his overall performance isn't particularly impressive.

Fafnir D TIER

Fafnir

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Fafnir can provide support for certain physical damage dealers, but his overall usefulness in the current meta is limited.

Fluffy S TIER

Fluffy

S Tier
Verdict: My ranking: S Tier.

Fluffy is currently one of the most dominant heroes in Hero Wars.

He's everywhere: Arena, Guild War, Clash of Worlds, and different team combinations.

One of his biggest advantages is that he works extremely well with other powerful heroes, allowing players to build very strong teams around him.

His combination with Electra is particularly important in the current meta.

Of course, we don't know how long this dominance will continue. New heroes and balance changes can always affect the meta.

But right now, there's absolutely no doubt about his position.

Folio D TIER

Folio

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Folio has some interesting abilities, but his overall performance isn't strong enough to compete with the better heroes available.

Fox D TIER

Fox

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Fox has some specific uses, but there are stronger and more reliable options for physical damage and support.

G Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Galahad C TIER

Galahad

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Many beginners start upgrading Galahad because he's one of the default heroes available at the beginning of the game.

And there's nothing wrong with using him during early progression.

However, Galahad is primarily a physical and pure damage-based hero, and physical damage-focused teams are currently struggling against several popular combinations.

He's still usable, but I wouldn't recommend investing too heavily in him for long-term progression.

Ginger D TIER

Ginger

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Ginger is a physical damage dealer, but she's not particularly competitive in the current meta.

Guus C TIER

Guus

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Guus is an interesting hero with some potential in the right team composition.

However, I don't think he's strong enough to compete with the top-tier heroes right now.

H Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Heidi B TIER

Heidi

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Heidi is a really strong dodge-focused hero who can deal a huge amount of pure damage.

He can also be useful against Maestro in Asgard, making him interesting for PVE players.

In PVP, he's not bad either, especially when you build the correct team around him.

Helios B TIER

Helios

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Helios is particularly useful against critical-hit-focused teams.

If you're fighting opponents who rely heavily on critical hits, Helios can be an excellent counter.

He can punish certain damage dealers and make life difficult for critical-hit-based teams.

However, outside those specific matchups, his usefulness is more limited.

I Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Iris B TIER

Iris

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Iris used to be one of the strongest damage dealers in Hero Wars.

And even today, I wouldn't say she's a bad hero.

The problem is that she hasn't found a consistently dominant combination in the current meta.

She's still capable of dealing significant damage, and I'm waiting to see whether a new team combination can bring her back into the spotlight.

Isaac S TIER

Isaac

S Tier
Verdict: My ranking: S Tier.

Isaac is one of the most valuable heroes in Hero Wars.

He's arguably the best hero for countering magic-focused teams. In certain situations, Isaac can destroy an entire enemy team almost by himself.

But his usefulness doesn't stop there.

He's also extremely important in Asgard. Whether you're fighting Osh or Maestro, Isaac is one of the key heroes you should consider upgrading.

Considering his PVP and PVE usefulness, he definitely deserves S tier.

Ishmael C TIER

Ishmael

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Ishmael is a physical damage dealer with strong critical-hit potential.

He can deal significant damage when properly supported, but he requires considerable investment to perform consistently.

Compared to the stronger damage dealers in the current meta, he's not particularly impressive.

J Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Jet C TIER

Jet

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Jet is a support hero who works particularly well with critical-hit-focused physical teams.

He provides critical-hit bonuses and healing, making him a useful partner for certain damage dealers.

However, his team flexibility is limited compared to some other support heroes.

Jhu B TIER

Jhu

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Jhu is a particularly strong hero for PVE content.

He can deal tremendous damage against certain bosses, making him valuable for boss battles.

However, his performance in regular PVP battles isn't always consistent.

Jorgen B TIER

Jorgen

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Jorgen is a really nice control and support hero.

His ability to manipulate enemy energy can delay ultimate abilities and disrupt the opponent's strategy.

This makes him particularly useful against teams that rely heavily on their ultimate abilities.

He's also flexible enough to work in different combinations.

Judge C TIER

Judge

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Judge provides shields, magic damage, and some useful control abilities.

He can work in certain magic-focused teams, but there are stronger support options available.

Julius C TIER

Julius

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Julius is a tank and support hero who provides shields and additional protection.

He works particularly well with other Progress heroes, but outside those combinations, his overall performance is less impressive.

K Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Kai D TIER

Kai

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Kai has some interesting knock-up abilities, but his overall usefulness is quite limited compared to other magic heroes.

K'arkh C TIER

K'arkh

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

K'arkh used to be one of the most popular physical damage dealers, especially when combined with Faceless.

Their abilities work together extremely well, and the combination can still be dangerous.

However, there are several counters available, and K'arkh isn't as dominant as he once was.

Kayla B TIER

Kayla

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Kayla is a powerful damage dealer, particularly when combined with Aidan.

Their special synergy can make them quite dangerous, and Kayla can deal a significant amount of damage with proper support.

However, she's not a universal hero and depends on the right team composition.

Keira B TIER

Keira

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Keira is a physical damage dealer who can attack multiple enemies with her blades.

She can deal significant damage, especially with the right support.

However, physical damage teams currently face difficulties against some popular meta combinations.

Krista B TIER

Krista

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Krista is particularly strong when combined with Lars.

Their abilities work together through Marks of Water, allowing them to create a powerful magic damage combination.

However, her usefulness outside this combination is more limited.

L Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Lara Croft A TIER

Lara Croft

A Tier
Verdict: My ranking: A Tier.

Lara Croft is a powerful physical damage dealer who can attack multiple enemies and provide additional utility.

She can fit into different combinations and has excellent damage potential.

Considering her overall performance and usefulness, I think she deserves A tier.

Lars B TIER

Lars

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Lars is mainly known for his combination with Krista.

He can pull enemies together and control their positioning, allowing the team to take advantage of Krista's abilities.

Together, they can create a strong magic damage team.

However, his effectiveness depends heavily on having the correct combination.

Lian C TIER

Lian

Her charm ability can disrupt enemy attacks and create useful opportunities.

However, she's quite situational.

Lilith

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Lilith has some interesting magic abilities, but her overall performance isn't particularly impressive in the current meta.

Lyria A TIER

Lyria

A Tier
Verdict: My ranking: A Tier.

Lyria is particularly interesting because of her synergy with other Undead heroes.

Her abilities provide additional support to Undead teammates, making her a valuable option for Undead-focused combinations.

Her connection ability also provides additional benefits to both connected heroes.

With heroes like Corvus and Morrigan, she can be part of some interesting combinations.

M Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Markus C TIER

Markus

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Markus is a healer and support hero who can provide useful healing and protection.

He also has some interesting synergy with Blessed heroes, but there are stronger support options available.

Martha B TIER

Martha

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Martha is one of the classic healer heroes in Hero Wars.

She provides consistent healing and increases team speed, allowing heroes to use their abilities more frequently.

She's particularly valuable in longer battles where keeping your damage dealers alive is important.

Maya D TIER

Maya

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Maya provides healing and magic damage, but she generally needs more time to make an impact.

There are better healing and support options available.

Mojo C TIER

Mojo

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Mojo is particularly interesting for PVE content.

His curse abilities allow him to deal additional damage over time, making him useful in certain boss battles.

However, his overall usefulness across different game modes is more limited.

Morrigan A TIER

Morrigan

A Tier
Verdict: My ranking: A Tier.

Morrigan is a very strong support hero, especially for Undead teams.

Her ability to summon skeletons provides additional units on the battlefield.

She can also prevent enemy resurrection, making her an excellent counter against heroes like Astaroth.

Her synergy with Corvus and Lyria makes her particularly valuable.

Mushy and Shroom C TIER

Mushy and Shroom

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Mushy and Shroom combine tanking, healing, and summoning abilities.

They can provide additional survivability and create more units on the battlefield.

However, they require proper team support and significant investment to perform well.

N Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Nebula S TIER

Nebula

S Tier
Verdict: My ranking: S Tier.

Nebula is one of the best support heroes in Hero Wars.

She can significantly increase the damage output of her teammates, making her an excellent partner for different physical and magic damage dealers.

One of her biggest advantages is her flexibility. She isn't limited to just one specific combination.

Whether you're building a physical team or a magic-focused team, Nebula can provide valuable support.

Ninja Turtles C TIER

Ninja Turtles

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

The Ninja Turtles have some interesting team-based abilities and can create useful combinations.

However, they're not particularly easy to fit into regular team compositions, and I don't think they're dominant enough for a higher ranking.

Omen has some interesting abilities, but his overall performance doesn't stand out compared to stronger heroes.

Orion A TIER

Orion

Verdict: My ranking: A Tier.

Orion is a strong magic damage dealer who works particularly well with heroes like Dorian and Helios.

His abilities can deal significant magic damage, and with the right support, he can become a very dangerous opponent.

The Orion-Dorian-Helios combination is particularly interesting for magic-focused teams.

Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Rufus specializes in countering magic damage teams.

His abilities allow him to absorb magical damage and survive situations where other tanks might struggle.

Satori can punish enemies who generate additional energy during battle.

His Fox Fire Marks can deal significant damage when activated, making him useful against certain team compositions.

He also provides critical-hit support, making him an excellent partner for critical-hit-focused damage dealers.

His flexibility allows him to work in different team combinations, making him a fantastic investment.

Somna C TIER

Somna

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Somna is a relatively new hero with interesting control abilities.

Her ability to put enemies to sleep and apply Sleepiness makes her particularly interesting for control-focused combinations.

However, we still need to see how well she performs across different team compositions.

T Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Thea C TIER

Thea

C Tier
Verdict: My ranking: C Tier.

Thea is one of the basic healer heroes in Hero Wars.

She can be useful during early progression, providing healing and additional support.

However, there are better healer options available for advanced players.

Tristan B TIER

Tristan

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Tristan is a support hero who works particularly well with physical damage teams and Blessed heroes.

His abilities can provide valuable physical attack bonuses to frontline heroes, making him useful in certain team combinations.

He's not a universal support hero, but he can be quite effective with the right team.

Y Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Yasmine B TIER

Yasmine

B Tier
Verdict: My ranking: B Tier.

Yasmine is a powerful physical damage dealer who can eliminate important enemy targets very quickly.

Her ability to jump onto opponents and deal significant damage makes her particularly dangerous against teams without the correct counters.

However, she has some clear weaknesses. Helios, for example, can be a serious problem for her because of his ability to punish critical-hit-focused heroes.

She's a strong hero, but you need to choose your opponents carefully.

Z Heroes – Hero-by-Hero Rankings

Ziri D TIER

Ziri

D Tier
Verdict: My ranking: D Tier.

Ziri is a tank with interesting survival abilities, including her ability to burrow underground and regenerate health.

However, when she burrows, another hero moves to the frontline, which can create problems for certain team formations.

Compared to stronger tanks available in the current meta, I don't think she's a particularly reliable option.

💡 Final Thoughts – Which Hero Should You Upgrade?

Now that we've covered all 75 heroes, let's look at the most important takeaways from this tier list.

If you're looking for the strongest overall investments, pay particular attention to the S-tier heroes:

  • Fluffy: Currently dominating multiple game modes, especially when paired with Electra.
  • Isaac: One of the best counters against magic teams and completely irreplaceable in Asgard (Osh & Maestro).
  • Nebula: An incredibly flexible support hero who amplifies the damage output of physical and magic teammates alike.
  • Sebastian: Provides essential protection against control debuffs and delivers massive critical-hit scaling.

For A-tier heroes, Adam, Augustus, Lara Croft, Lyria, Morrigan, and Orion are all exceptional choices depending on the core team archetype you build (Dodge, Undead, or Magic Burst).

B-tier heroes are also well worth upgrading when you have a specific combination in mind. However, I wouldn't recommend upgrading every hero just because they're ranked highly. Building a focused 5-hero core with airtight synergy is always more effective than spreading resources thin across individually powerful heroes.

Finally, don't completely disregard C and D-tier heroes. Certain heroes like Rufus, Cornelius, Mojo, and Jhu provide unmatched utility in specific PvE boss encounters or niche PvP counter situations.

Conclusion

This completes my comprehensive Hero Wars Dominion Era Tier List, covering all 75 heroes from Adam to Ziri.

These rankings represent my personal opinion based on the current 2026 meta and extensive testing across all game modes. Hero Wars is constantly evolving: new heroes, new Ascension abilities, and balance patches can rapidly shift hero values. Consider this tier list an actionable guide to make smarter investment decisions rather than an unbendable rulebook.

What do you think of these rankings? Disagree with any positions? Have your own favorite combination? Put your strategy to the test:
