Hero Wars Asgard: How to Deal the Maximum 1.72 Billion Damage to Osh in One Battle

Published: October 2026 | By: Trade Boy

Best team and secret strategy for maximum Osh damage in Hero Wars

Want to deal the maximum possible damage to Osh in a single Asgard battle in Hero Wars Dominion Era? With the right team, carefully selected buffs, precise manual timing, and a little luck, you can reach the battle's damage limit of 1.72 billion damage.

In this guide, I'll explain the exact team composition, the buffs you need, how to execute the strategy step by step, and the hero upgrade restrictions that are essential for making this setup work.

I'll also explain why dealing more damage in a single battle is impossible under these conditions, even if you have time remaining on the timer.

The Best Team for Maximum Osh Damage

The strategy uses a specialized physical damage team built around Isaac, Nebula, Sebastian, Cornelius, and Martha. The key to this setup is combining artifact bonuses, Cornelius' critical hit potential, Sebastian's additional pure damage, and Albus' damage amplification.

Here is the exact team composition:

IsaacIsaacOliverOliver
NebulaNebulaCainCain
SebastianSebastianAlbusAlbus
CorneliusCorneliusBiscuitBiscuit
MarthaMarthaAxelAxel
AlbusTeam pet: Albus · the small pet under each hero is their patron pet.

This team is already well known among players who fight Osh because it can deliver enormous damage when its abilities and artifact bonuses are coordinated correctly. For more Osh lineups, see the best teams for Osh.

However, this particular strategy requires manual gameplay. Simply using the team on auto will not reliably produce the results needed to reach the maximum damage limit.

Understanding the Maximum Damage Limit

Before discussing the battle strategy, it's important to understand how the Osh encounter works.

A standard Asgard battle has a two-minute timer. However, Osh battles have an additional restriction: once you defeat Osh twice during a single battle, the encounter ends immediately, even if time remains on the clock.

Osh's maximum level is 160, and at that level, the boss has exactly 860,079,181 HP. To keep things simple, I'll round that to 860 million in the rest of this guide.

This gives us the following calculation:

Maximum damage = 860,079,181 × 2 = 1,720,158,362 ≈ 1.72 billion

Therefore, the maximum possible damage in one battle against a full-health, level-160 Osh is 1.72 billion damage (1,720,158,362 exactly), assuming you defeat the boss twice.

Osh at Level 160: Key Facts

Health860,079,181
Armor168,833
Magic Defense156,574
Defense Sphere health129,012 each
Meteor Shower4 per battle: at about 1:40, 1:00, 0:40–0:30 and 0:11–0:03 on the timer
Planet Parade30s into the battle, then every 40s
Wormhole3s into the battle, then every 40s

Stats from HWDaily's Osh page.

Osh's very high Armor is why this team stacks so many Armor Penetration bonuses before Cornelius attacks.

Once the second kill occurs, the battle ends automatically. You cannot continue dealing damage to Osh during the remaining time.

How the Strategy Works in Practice

2:00Battle starts
1:401st Meteor Shower
1:29First Osh kill (my replay)
1:002nd Meteor Shower
0:56Second kill (my replay): battle ends
0:40–0:303rd Meteor Shower (if you missed a crit)
0:11–0:034th Meteor Shower (last chance)

Times are what the battle timer shows. Each kill lands shortly after a Meteor Shower, which is when the combo is set up. In my replay both kills landed early, so the battle ended at 0:56. If Cornelius misses the critical hit on an earlier meteor, you still get the 3rd and 4th Meteor Showers to finish the job.

In my battle replay, the first Osh kill happened with 1 minute and 29 seconds remaining on the timer.

The second kill happened with 56 seconds remaining, immediately ending the encounter.

This demonstrates that you don't need to use the entire two-minute timer to reach the maximum damage. The real challenge is executing the damage setup correctly twice before the battle ends.

The goal is not simply to deal as much damage as possible. It's to make sure that both kills deal the boss's full 860 million HP in damage.

How to Deal 1.72 Billion Damage: Step-by-Step Strategy

The most important part of this strategy is knowing when to activate your heroes' abilities.

You need to obtain the correct artifact bonuses before using Cornelius' ultimate. Ideally, you want to secure four Armor Penetration artifact bonuses, one Critical Hit bonus, and one Physical Attack bonus.

During the battle, you'll have approximately four opportunities to set up the required bonuses. You only need to execute the combination successfully twice to reach the maximum damage.

Follow these steps carefully.

Step 1: Start the Battle Without Using Hero Skills

At the beginning of the battle, don't activate any hero skills immediately.

Instead, repeatedly use Isaac's ultimate until all the Defense Spheres are destroyed.

Destroying these spheres is an important part of preparing the battle. Continue using Isaac's ultimate and avoid activating the other heroes' abilities too early.

Once all the Defense Spheres have been destroyed, wait for the next phase.

Step 2: Watch for the Meteor Phase

After the Defense Spheres are destroyed, pay attention to the falling meteors.

This is the moment when you need to start preparing your damage combination.

As soon as the meteors begin falling, activate:

The purpose is to obtain the Critical Hit and Physical Attack artifact bonuses required for the setup.

Timing matters here. You want to coordinate your abilities so that the necessary bonuses are available before using Cornelius' ultimate.

Step 3: Keep Your Heroes Alive During the Meteors

The meteor phase can put your team at risk, so you must monitor your heroes' health.

If any hero's health drops below approximately 40% and they are in danger of dying, activate Martha's ultimate immediately.

Martha's Armor artifact bonus can provide protection to your entire team, helping them survive the meteor damage.

Keeping your heroes alive is essential because losing a hero can disrupt the carefully planned sequence of abilities and bonuses.

Don't focus exclusively on damage during this phase. You also need to preserve the team so that you can complete the setup.

Step 4: Obtain Four Armor Penetration Artifact Bonuses

After activating Sebastian's and Nebula's ultimates, continue using Isaac's ultimate.

Your next objective is to obtain four Armor Penetration artifact bonuses.

These bonuses are a critical part of the strategy because they prepare Cornelius for the powerful ultimate attack that follows.

Keep monitoring the artifact activations and wait until all four Armor Penetration bonuses have appeared.

Do not rush into the next step before the required bonuses are ready. Using Cornelius' ultimate too early can prevent you from achieving the damage needed for a successful kill.

Step 5: Activate Cornelius' and Albus' Ultimates TogetherCornelius' Heavy Wisdom + Albus' ultimate

Once you have obtained all four Armor Penetration artifact bonuses, activate Cornelius' ultimate and Albus' ultimate together.

This is the most important moment in the entire strategy.

The combination relies on several damage-enhancing mechanics working together. When the required bonuses are active and the timing is correct, Cornelius can deal an enormous amount of damage to Osh.

However, there is also an element of luck involved. For the strategy to work as intended, Cornelius' ultimate needs to land a critical hit.

If the critical hit doesn't occur at the right moment, you may fail to deal enough damage to finish the boss in that attempt.

This is why manual gameplay is essential. You need to watch the battle, wait for the correct bonuses, and activate the abilities at the right time.

Why Sebastian and Albus Are Essential

The damage combination becomes even more powerful because of Sebastian's skills and Albus' abilities.

Several mechanics work together to amplify the final damage.

Battle Song skill icon

Sebastian's Battle SongSecond skill, with Striking Solo

Sebastian's second skill, Battle Song, is part of the damage setup.

When the required conditions are met, Sebastian's third skill can add 134% extra pure damage to the affected heroes.

This additional pure damage is a major part of the strategy because it increases the damage output beyond what the heroes would otherwise deal.

The timing and conditions of the skill interaction are important, so make sure the necessary effects are active when executing the combination.

Albus Pure Victory skill icon

Albus' Violet SkillPure Victory

Albus is assigned to Sebastian as his patron pet.

Albus' violet skill increases the pure damage dealt by his master by 75%.

This makes Albus especially valuable for the strategy because Sebastian's bonus pure damage becomes even more effective.

The combination of Sebastian's additional pure damage and Albus' amplification contributes significantly to the enormous damage output required for the Osh kill.

Albus Breath of the Ancients skill icon

Albus' UltimateBreath of the Ancients

Albus' ultimate adds another major source of damage to the combination.

When activated at the correct moment, Albus can deal more than 200% of the damage Sebastian has just dealt, according to the interaction used in this strategy.

This extra damage is what helps complete the combination and deliver enough damage to defeat Osh.

The key is to coordinate the effects correctly rather than activating abilities randomly. If the setup works as intended, the combined damage can be sufficient to eliminate the boss.

How to Secure the Second Osh Kill

Defeating Osh once is only half the objective. To reach the maximum possible damage, you must repeat the successful damage combination for the second kill.

The second attempt follows essentially the same process as the first.

  1. Wait for the meteors to begin falling.
  2. Activate Sebastian's and Nebula's ultimates at the appropriate moment.
  3. Obtain the required Critical Hit and Physical Attack artifact bonuses.
  4. Continue using Isaac's ultimate until you obtain four Armor Penetration artifact bonuses.
  5. Activate Cornelius' and Albus' ultimates together when the setup is ready.
  6. Aim for another successful critical hit and complete the second kill.

Remember that the battle ends immediately after the second Osh kill.

You have approximately four opportunities during the battle to establish the required artifact bonuses, one for each Meteor Shower, but you only need to execute the full combination successfully twice.

Missed a crit? Don't restart yet. The 3rd Meteor Shower starts between 0:40 and 0:30 on the timer, and the 4th between 0:11 and 0:03. Set up the same combination again on either one and you can still get your second kill.

Because the strategy depends on precise timing and critical hits, the result isn't guaranteed on every attempt. You may need to repeat the battle until the necessary conditions align.

The key to reaching 1.72 billion damage is executing the full combination twice, not simply activating every ultimate as soon as possible.

Hero Upgrade Restrictions: Important Details

One of the most important aspects of this strategy is the way Isaac and Cornelius are upgraded.

If you upgrade these heroes without considering their specific requirements, the strategy may no longer work as intended.

Pay particular attention to Isaac's first artifact and Cornelius' skills and artifact.

Isaac: Keep His First Artifact at Level 114

Isaac's first artifact must remain at level 114.

Do not over-upgrade it for this strategy. Increasing its level too much can interfere with the required mechanics and prevent the team from performing as intended.

You should also keep Isaac's Magic Defense and Armor Penetration stats as low as possible.

However, his health is different: higher health is preferable.

Use the following upgrade guidelines for Isaac:

UpgradeRecommendation
First artifactKeep at level 114
Magic DefenseKeep as low as possible
Armor PenetrationKeep as low as possible
HealthHigher is better

These restrictions are intentional. The goal is not to make Isaac as powerful as possible in every respect, but to preserve the specific setup required for this damage strategy.

Before changing Isaac's artifact or stats, consider whether you want to keep this specialized Osh setup available on your account. For the full breakdown of skins, glyphs and artifacts, see my Isaac build for Osh guide.

Cornelius: Upgrade His First Skill to Level 130

Cornelius also has specific upgrade requirements.

For this strategy:

Keeping Cornelius' other skills at level 1 is not absolutely essential, but it can still be useful for maintaining the intended setup.

The most important artifact restriction is to avoid upgrading or unlocking his first artifact, as specified for this strategy.

These requirements may seem unusual if you're accustomed to maximizing every hero's upgrades. However, this is a specialized setup designed around particular battle mechanics rather than a conventional progression build.

What About the Other Heroes?

The remaining heroes do not require the same strict upgrade limitations for this strategy.

You can generally upgrade Nebula, Sebastian, and Martha without significantly affecting the core setup described in this guide.

Nevertheless, keep in mind that the overall performance still depends on your team composition, battle timing, and the interaction between the required skills and artifact bonuses.

Final Checklist for Maximum Osh Damage

Before entering the battle, use this checklist to confirm that everything is ready. Tick each item as you go.

Conclusion: 1.72 Billion Is the Maximum Damage Per Battle

With the correct team, appropriate buffs, the required hero upgrades, and precise manual gameplay, this strategy can achieve 1.72 billion damage against a level-160 Osh in a single battle.

The reason is straightforward: Osh has 860,079,181 HP at level 160, and the encounter ends immediately after the second kill. Defeating him twice therefore gives you a maximum of 1,720,158,362 damage, about 1.72 billion, when starting from full health.

The real challenge is executing the damage combination twice before the battle ends. You must obtain the correct artifact bonuses, keep your heroes alive, coordinate Sebastian's and Albus' damage amplification, and time Cornelius' ultimate correctly.

The strategy also depends on critical hits and other battle conditions, so reaching the maximum may require several attempts.

If you follow the steps carefully and preserve the specified upgrade restrictions, you'll have the setup needed to aim for the maximum possible Osh damage in Hero Wars Dominion Era.
