Titan Upgrades: Strategy & Meta Breakdown

Guild Wars in Hero Wars are often decided entirely by Titans. While heroes fight in the Arena, Titans hold the line in your Guild's Fortifications. Building a strong Titan team is mandatory if you want your guild to succeed in the Gold League.

The Elemental Triangle

Titans are divided into three basic elements: Water, Fire, and Earth. The relationship works like rock-paper-scissors:

Because of this, mono-element teams (teams consisting of only one element) are generally a bad idea on defense, as the enemy can easily counter you with the opposing element.

Super Titans: The Core of Your Team

There are three primary Super Titans: Hyperion (Water), Araji (Fire), and Eden (Earth). You should always aim to have all three on your main team.

Hyperion

Hyperion is arguably the most important Titan in the game because he provides the only reliable healing in Titan battles. His ultimate ability heals the lowest-health Titan on your team while dealing massive damage to the enemy. Prioritize leveling Hyperion's weapon artifact to boost your entire team's damage.

Araji

Araji is the king of speed. His passive ability speeds up the attack and skill activation rate of your entire team. In Titan battles, whoever fires their ultimates first usually wins. Araji ensures that your team goes first.

Eden

Eden brings chaos to the battlefield. His ultimate pulls a random enemy Titan underground, completely removing them from the fight for several seconds. This turns a 5v5 into a 5v4, giving you a massive advantage.

The Ideal Titan Team (The "3+2" Setup)

The current meta for Titan battles is using the three Super Titans (Hyperion, Araji, Eden) alongside a Tank and a Support/Marksman.

For your Tank, Sigurd (Water) or Angus (Earth) are the best choices. Sigurd has an invulnerability shield that blocks all incoming damage, while Angus deals massive AoE damage to the entire enemy team.

For your 5th slot, Nova (Water) is the most popular choice. Her ability to stun the enemy backline can interrupt enemy Super Titans before they can cast their ultimates.

Artifact Prioritization

Titan Artifacts are incredibly expensive to upgrade. You should focus your resources in this order:

  1. Your Tank's Health/Armor seals. (If your tank dies, the rest of your team melts).
  2. Hyperion's Weapon (Provides team-wide healing/damage).
  3. Araji's Weapon (Provides team-wide physical attack).

Never spread your artifact resources evenly. A maxed-out Sigurd will single-handedly win fights against a team with evenly distributed, low-level artifacts.
